Job Description

Job Overview Bynog's Tree Service is seeking a dependable, hardworking Groundman to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, works well outdoors in all weather conditions, and is willing to learn. This position plays a critical role in supporting our tree crew by keeping job sites safe, organized, and efficient.
Responsibilities:
Assist climber and equipment operator during tree removal and trimming jobs. Drag, stack, and load brush, logs, and debris. Operate chainsaws, chippers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Fuel, grease, and perform basic maintenance on equipment. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Work efficiently as part of a team to complete jobs on schedule. Assist with loading and unloading tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license preferred (CDL is a plus). Experience in tree service, landscaping, construction, or manual labor—we are willing to train the right candidate. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance. Ability to follow directions and work safely.
Preferred Skills:
Experience operating chainsaws and wood chippers. Knowledge of tree service safety practices. Mechanical experience is a plus.
