GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE EXPERENCE IS WANTED BUT WILL TRAIN RIGHT PERSON MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. NO DROP
OFF'sDRIVERS LICENSE OR PERSONAL ID IS REQUIRED ROTATING WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED THIS IS NOT PART TIME
Primary Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)- Operates heavy equipment, such as tractors, aerifiers, sand trap rakes, reel mowers, zero turn mowers
- Operates powered mowing equipment on the tees, greens, roughs, and surrounding areas.
- Operates light motorized equipment and trucks in hauling materials and removing debris.
- Changes cup and tee placement in accordance with the assigned schedule.
- Edges, rakes, and maintains bunkers.
- Trim trees
- Performs all other duties that may be required by management from time to time. Qualifications and Characteristics Required The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Any combination of education or experience equivalent to the graduation of high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform to the position standards. High school diploma required. Post high school education desired.
- Prior experience in golf course operations or landscape and interest in working outdoors desired.
- Small and large hand tools, power tools
- Ability to communicate in English with staff and members
- Knowledge of mechanical operation of trucks and other motorized equipment.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Possess ability to safely operate all golf course equipment.
