Jobs › Granby, MA › Landscape Technician White Hollow Yard and Home Landscape Technician Granby, MA Apply GRANBY Landscape Technician White Hollow, LLC is a locally owned landscaping and property services company looking to add two people to our landscaping team. We\'re looking for people who enjoy working outdoors, aren\'t afraid of physical work, and want an opportunity to learn and grow with our company. Our work is varied throughout the season and includes lawn and landscape care, property maintenance, landscape construction, lawn installations, brush and tree work, skid steer work, and other equipment-related projects. Typical duties may include:
Commercial & residential mowing String trimming and edging General landscape/property maintenance Mulching, planting, pruning Landscape installation and renovation Fall and spring cleanups Brush clearing Assisting with tree cutting and tree-related work Loading and unloading trucks and trailers Operating landscaping tools and equipment Driving company trucks and towing trailers Snow and ice removal during the winter season Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Skid steer and other equipment operation work available for qualified employees. Training opportunities are also available for employees who do not have prior equipment operating experience but demonstrate reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to safely take on additional responsibilities.
Requirements:
Be 18 years of age or older Possess a valid driver\'s license Be dependable and report to work on time Be capable of performing physical outdoor work Be comfortable working in varying weather conditions Be able to work effectively as part of a crew Be excited to learn new skills Use good judgment around vehicles, equipment, coworkers, customers, and their property Maintain a professional and respectful attitude while working at customers\' homes and businesses Be someone the company, coworkers, and customers can trust Because this position may involve driving company vehicles, operating equipment, and working on customers\' properties, candidates may be required to complete applicable criminal background and driving record checks as part of the hiring process. Any background information will be considered in accordance with Massachusetts law and in relation to the responsibilities of the position. Starting pay ranges from \$17.00 to \$27.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and ability. Employees who learn quickly, develop new skills, take on more responsibility, and consistently perform at a high level can receive pay increases as they progress and grow with the company. There are also opportunities for advancement into positions with greater responsibility, including crew leadership, equipment operation, and other specialized roles as the company continues to grow.
