Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and the ability to perform various landscaping tasks. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the beauty of outdoor spaces through effective landscape maintenance, including mowing, gardening, and hardscaping. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and weeding gardens. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various landscaping activities. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Support hardscape projects such as laying pavers, building retaining walls, and installing decorative stone features. Conduct tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as necessary. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to promote safety and efficiency on job sites. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on schedule while adhering to quality standards. Clean driving record Full time including winter work snowplowing and shoveling Qualifications Mechanical knowledge is preferred for maintaining landscaping equipment and tools. Experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is a plus but not required. Familiarity with gardening practices and plant care is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively in various outdoor conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Physical stamina is essential as the role requires lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
