Tree Service Groundsman

We're looking for a hard-working, reliable Tree Groundsman to join our crew! As a Tree Groundsman, you'll be responsible for supporting the tree crew by handling ground-level tasks during tree removal, trimming, and cleanup jobs. You'll be the backbone of the operation — keeping the worksite safe, efficient, and running smoothly from the ground up.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist climbers and equipment operators by managing ropes, tools, and debris on the ground Operate chippers, chainsaws, blowers, and other ground equipment safely and efficiently Load logs, branches, and brush into chipper or onto trailers for hauling Rake, sweep, and clean up the worksite after each job Communicate clearly with the crew to ensure safe and effective tree operations Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective gear at all times As a Tree Groundsman, you'll spend most of your day outdoors in all weather conditions. Physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are a must. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites Prior experience in tree work or landscaping is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods Comfortable working around heavy machinery and at heights (with proper training) Join our team as a Tree Groundsman and grow your skills in the tree care industry!
