Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity this summer supporting students through your expertise as an Occupational Therapist. We're seeking a dedicated professional skilled in school-based OT to bring impactful therapy services to three local schools on a short-term contract. If you are passionate about working in educational environments and making a meaningful difference, this role provides an excellent fit. This assignment runs for four weeks from July 6th through July 30th, with workdays scheduled Monday through Thursday, from 9 am to 12 pm. You'll work a total of 12.6 hours each week, ensuring a balanced and manageable summer schedule.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy Ability to confidently manage a caseload across multiple campuses Skilled in evaluating students, developing IEP goals, and providing direct intervention Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students Reliable, self-directed, and adaptable to changing daily needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group occupational therapy sessions Assess student needs and track progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student participation and success Document services and progress in accordance with school and professional standards Engage with parents and caregivers regarding student development
