Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain healthy plant growth. Identify plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to support healthy landscape development and pest management strategies. Conduct groundskeeping activities like fertilizing, planting new flora, removing debris, and applying pesticides responsibly. Maintain safety standards by following established protocols during all outdoor operations and equipment use. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or seasonal planting to ensure year-round landscape excellence. Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, lawn care equipment, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery. Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and landscape design basics. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various weather conditions. Knowledge of pesticide management practices and safety regulations related to pest control.
