Duties Assist customers with selecting plants, gardening supplies, antiques, and home décor, offering knowledgeable recommendations based on their needs Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the shop's displays, shelves, and outdoor garden areas, watering and pruning the plants daily. Handle sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and retail math calculations Restock merchandise regularly to ensure a fresh and inviting shopping environment Support landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, watering, and general gardening to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Manage inventory by stocking new arrivals, updating signage, and organizing stockrooms efficiently Provide excellent customer service by answering questions in multiple languages if needed and guiding visitors through our collections Skills Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening techniques, floral design, and landscape maintenance Excellent communication skills to engage customers confidently and clearly explain product features or gardening tips Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and shop cleanliness effectively Retail sales experience including cashiering, POS operation, cash handling, and retail math proficiency Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting plants or antiques and working outdoors in varying weather conditions Passion for antiques, gardening, floral design, and sustainable landscaping practices This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to share their love of gardening and vintage treasures while delivering outstanding customer service.
