Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Grass Cutter and Landscaper, where your passion for outdoor work and landscaping excellence will help transform and maintain beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the aesthetic appeal, safety, and functionality of various landscapes by performing mowing, trimming, planting, and other groundskeeping tasks. Your expertise will contribute to creating inviting environments that enhance the natural beauty of our clients' properties. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance and horticulture while working outdoors in a fast-paced, energetic setting. Duties Operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently and safely Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, fertilizing, and weed control to promote healthy growth and vibrant aesthetics Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed for optimal plant health Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, pests, and diseases to support effective plant care and pest management strategies Maintain grounds by trimming trees and shrubs, installing hardscape features such as pathways or retaining walls, and performing snow plowing during winter months Follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment and handling chemicals such as pesticides or fertilizers Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly Experience Proven outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture preferred Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, lawn care equipment, and irrigation systems is highly desirable Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, tree care, gardening practices, and hardscape installation Knowledge of plant identification, pesticide management, safety protocols, and grounds maintenance best practices Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety guidelines Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for extended outdoor work in varying weather conditions Prior experience with snow plowing or winter landscape services is a plus Join us in creating stunning outdoor environments!
