Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive grounds Operate ground maintenance and landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Install and repair hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Manage plant health through proper plant identification, pruning techniques, pest management, and fertilization practices Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting schedules to optimize water use Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around properties Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Experience Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping practices Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, lawn care equipment, and construction machinery such as excavators or tree trimmers Familiarity with horticulture principles including plant identification, tree care, gardening techniques, and pesticide management Experience with landscape construction projects involving hardscape installation or renovation work Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while operating equipment or performing manual tasks Knowledge of irrigation systems setup and troubleshooting is highly desirable Prior experience in snow plowing or seasonal outdoor maintenance is a plus Join us to cultivate beautiful landscapes while advancing your skills in a vibrant outdoor setting!
