Job Description

Groundsperson/Climber Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Groundsperson/Climber, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and caring for trees and landscapes through skilled climbing, rigging, and ground work. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, applying your expertise in tree care, pruning, and landscape maintenance. You will be responsible for safely executing tree trimming, removal, and planting tasks while adhering to strict safety protocols. Your enthusiasm and technical skills will contribute to the health and aesthetics of urban and rural landscapes alike. Responsibilities Safely operate spider lift and rigging equipment to access high branches and perform tree pruning or removal. Execute arborist rigging techniques to ensure safe and efficient tree care operations. Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and plant care to promote healthy growth and landscape beauty. Perform tree removal using chainsaws and other specialized tools while following safety guidelines. Follow all safety protocols rigorously during outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Ability to driver trucks with trailer Chainsaw skills a plus
WILLING TO TRAIN
Experience Prior outdoor work experience in horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with rigging techniques, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and plant pruning care. Willing to learn. Growing experience in horticulture or dendrology (study of trees) is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to climbing, rigging, and outdoor landscape work. Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance enhances your suitability for this role. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
