Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and installation as well as general property maintenance. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring that landscapes are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained as well as assisting with carpentry and interior maintenance projects. The Field Operator will collaborate with other team members to execute tasks effectively while adhering to safety standards. Duties Perform landscape installation tasks, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. Maintain existing landscapes through weeding, pruning and mulching. Operate landscaping equipment such as excavators, trucks, trailers, chainsaws Assist in the construction of hardscaping, tree installation, and garden installations. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Follow safety protocols while working in various environments, including residential yards and construction sites. Requirements Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred. Ability to perform masonry tasks as needed for landscape features. Experience in the restoration industry is a nice-to-have skill for maintaining historical landscapes or structures. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.
