Groundskeeping Maintenance Crew Member

MCF Landscaping LLC is a growing landscape company that started in 1999 serving the Greater Grand Rapids and Lakeshore areas. We design, build and maintain residential and commercial spaces with a team of experienced landscape crew, which consists of a horticulturist, ground staff, carpenters, and landscape designers. I am going to try something different here. We are look for an individual that can show up every day, on time, work hard, and make a difference. This person should be open to learning new ways of doing things. Also, old ways of doing things. Preferably looking for someone with experience, but if you are a quick learner, who knows. Preferably a foreperson type, self-starter with a strong work ethic. We have wasted far too much time on people who really don't want to work. This shift is 7:30-4 Monday through Friday. 40 hours no overtime . As a landscape support staff, your duties and responsibilities include lawn and garden care, mowing, edging, mulching, weeding, loading/unloading tools and equipment, maintenance and cleaning, general upkeep of facilities and machines, and irrigation. You will be directly reporting to Landscape Operations Manager. We are looking for highly trainable, self-motivated, reliable and creative landscape individuals. The ideal candidate would be someone who

• Can show up on time and be ready to work
• Is highly motivated & has the ability to listen and follow directions
• Can work outdoors in suboptimal conditions
• Has the ability to lift 50-80lbs
• Can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality
