As the Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of lawn care and landscaping professionals, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of high-quality service for our residential and commercial clients. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Supervise:

Manage a team of lawn care and landscaping crew members, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet the company's high standards of quality.

Customer Service:

Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and concerns during the course of service. Act as the main point of contact for any job-related issues.

Daily Operations:

Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure the efficient operation of all lawn care and landscaping services, including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, and more.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections of completed work, ensuring that all landscaping services meet or exceed company standards.

Training and Development:

Provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members to help them develop skills and enhance performance.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all safety guidelines, protocols, and equipment usage standards are followed to prevent injuries and accidents.

Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and care of equipment and tools. Report any issues to the manager for repair or replacement.

Administrative Tasks:

Complete necessary paperwork, such as daily job logs, time sheets, and service records, in a timely manner.

Customer Retention:

Build positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or related field. Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with various landscaping tools, equipment, and techniques (zero turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).

Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.

Valid Driver's License:

A valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Ability to operate a company vehicle with trailer attached is
