Job Description
The responsibilities of a groundsman include operating a chainsaw to cut branches from trees, dragging branches and brush to a woodchipper, and feeding the brush into the woodchipper. The groundsman will operate the woodchipper and well as operate chainsaw to cut logs and stumps of larger trees. The groundsman will service vehicles and equipment in order to maintain them in working mechanical order. There will be opportunities for growth and advancement in the company for dedicated, hard-working individuals who are interested in making tree work their career. Qualifications
- Experience in tree care and tree trimming
- Proficiency in rigging and operating chainsaws
- Background in lawn care and landscape maintenance
- Familiarity with heavy equipment such as wood chippers and skid steers
- Experience in tree care and landscaping are a plus
