Your hands-on work will involve operating a variety of tools and equipment, contributing to the overall health and aesthetics of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, professional appearance. Trim trees, bushes, and hedges with hand tools or power equipment to maintain proper shape and health. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, mulching, and planting to enhance curb appeal. Operate machinery including excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation or hardscape installation. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects and maintenance tasks. Experience Prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is advantageous. Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, tree care, gardening, and hardscape installation. Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus. Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, and general maintenance tasks will help you succeed in this role. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently outdoors in varying weather conditions.
