In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to maintain safety and accessibility for all. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help keep our community safe and operational regardless of winter weather conditions. This paid position offers an energetic environment where your outdoor work experience and mechanical skills will shine. Responsibilities Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders to clear designated outdoor areas effectively. Must be available for on-call responsibilities, including responding to weather-related events and urgent service needs outside normal working hours. Assess weather conditions regularly to anticipate snow accumulation and plan timely removal strategies. Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation on walkways, stairs, and parking lots. Perform routine maintenance checks on all snow removal tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during snow removal operations. Communicate with team members to coordinate efforts during heavy snowfall or icy conditions for maximum efficiency. Document completed work and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Requirements Familiarity with landscape maintenance, hardscape features, irrigation systems, and lawn care is a plus. Strong adherence to safety protocols combined with excellent attention to detail during outdoor operations. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in cold weather environments, including lifting, shoveling, and operating equipment for extended periods.
