Job Description
Currently seeking a part-time building and grounds crew member to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the grounds, including lawns, trails, and other landscaped areas by keeping up with the removal of leaves and sticks, cutting grass, cleaning inside and outside buildings, and maintaining equipment. The maintenance area entails two cemeteries, four parks, Twin Lake welcome sign, two lake channels, one bike trail, one horse trail, the township hall, the fire department, and other duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Operating equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, snowplow, snow blower, chainsaw, etc. Raking leaves and removing debris as well as snow removal. Providing general maintenance to the grounds, including irrigation and pest control. Assisting with other landscaping tasks as directed. Removing and disposing of debris and trash from grounds. Ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations and laws. Assisting with special projects as directed.
