Job Description

Overview Historic, private championship golf club seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Grounds Crew team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. As a member of the Grounds Crew, you will be responsible for various landscaping tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetic, playability, and health of the golf courses and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, and mulching to ensure healthy plant growth. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, raking, trimming, and edging. Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Irrigate plants and lawns as directed to promote optimal growth. Assist in projects such as installing drainage, bunker repair, tee construction, sod work, etc. Dig holes for planting or other landscaping needs as required. Conduct snow plowing/shoveling during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with the game of golf is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to use hand tools effectively for various tasks related to groundskeeping. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
