Building/Grounds Maintenance

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Purpose:

Responsible for cleaning of specific areas of the plant and performing building and grounds maintenance activities

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

Ensure a clean and safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program. Perform building and grounds repairs and upkeep as needed Clean and maintain general shop area Perform light carpentry and plumbing duties as needed Empty garbage and pick-up cardboard on production floor as needed Collect empty pallets, boxes and parts trays and relocate to designated areas where applicable Assist with unloading and moving production equipment as needed Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience :

High School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous building/grounds experience preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Valid and current MN driver's license Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures Must be able to operate, walk-behind and riding, floor scrubbers and barnishers Must be able to operate scissor lifts and forklifts Must be able to perform duties without direct supervision Basic knowledge of, or ability to learn, light carpentry and plumbing Regular attendance

Training:

Forklift, scissor lift, lawn equipment, snow removal equipment Reference OJT Physical Demands Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., rarely lifting up to 70 lbs. Ability to stand for 100% of shift Ability to do repetitive motions, i.e. bending, twisting, walking, crouching Ability to work at elevated heights Ability to climb ladders Ability to continuously operate a minimum of 3 hours See Functional Job Description for complete demands
