ReWild Gardens designs, installs, and maintains habitat-friendly native gardens across the Twin Cities. We buck the traditional landscape status quo by using pollinator-friendly practices, minimal machinery, and zero pesticides. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented landscapers with 1-2 years of practical, hands-on field experience in gardening, fine maintenance, or landscape installation. If you have grit, a strong work ethic, and practical plant knowledge, we want you on our team. What You Will Do This is a physically demanding, rewarding field role. You will work with unique native plant material and perform precision maintenance and installation.

Garden Installation:

Install edging and spread mulch, soil, or gravel. Plant plugs, shrubs, and trees.

Fine Maintenance:

Perform targeted hand-weeding, manual sod removal, and precise tree/shrub pruning.

Light Hardscaping:

Handle hand-excavation for rain gardens, work with boulders/pavers, and shovel aggregate.

Site Management:

Maintain tools, load equipment, and ensure clean, professional job sites.

Qualifications Experience:

1-2 years of professional, hands-on gardening or landscape maintenance experience (required).

Plant Skills:

Solid baseline knowledge of plant and weed identification.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

Movement:

Comfort with prolonged kneeling, bending, crouching, and manual digging.

Logistics:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to jobs.

Health:

Ability to work around natural allergens like soil, mulch, pollen, and fungi.

Job Details & Schedule Location:

Based in East Bloomington. Sites are within a 30-minute radius of the Twin Cities.

Season:

Seasonal position, we need crew starting August through late November (with occasional winter pruning/seeding).

Hours:

Standard days run 7:30 AM to 5:00/6:00 PM. Full-time and part-time options are available (fixed, flexible scheduling).

Travel:

Reimbursed mileage for travel between job sites.
