Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Worker and become a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into lush, vibrant environments! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing lawns, landscapes, and gardens through hands-on work with a variety of tools and equipment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create beautiful, healthy outdoor areas that clients will love. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and outdoor construction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal efficiently. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree care including trimming and removal, and garden bed upkeep. Use hand tools and small machinery like excavators for hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and making necessary adjustments or repairs. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues related to horticulture health or landscape structure. Follow safety protocols when handling equipment like power tools or operating machinery such as excavators or tree care equipment. Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care best practices is a plus. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators or snow plows is advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward landscape upkeep and construction projects. $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
