Job Description
Landscape Crew Member / Equipment Operator Madisons Landscapes Stillwater, MN Area and surrounding east metro. $22.5-$35/hour, depending on experience Madisons Landscapes is looking to add a reliable, hardworking crew member to our team for the remainder of the 2026 landscaping season, winter snow operations, and to start off the 2027 landscaping season. We're a growing landscape company working throughout the East Metro on landscape installations, hardscapes, retaining walls, property renovations, drainage, excavation, and other outdoor projects. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays productive without needing to be constantly supervised, takes care of equipment, and wants an opportunity to grow with the company. Responsibilities Landscape installation and renovation Paver and retaining wall installation Rock, mulch, edging, sod, and planting Grading, excavation, and site preparation Operating and working around compact equipment Loading/unloading trucks and trailers Maintaining clean and organized jobsites Proper care of trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment Snow and ice removal during the winter season Working efficiently as part of a small crew What We're Looking For Landscaping, construction, excavation, hardscape, or similar outdoor work experience preferred Reliable transportation Valid driver's license preferred Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work Comfortable working long days when necessary Dependable and on time Able to work independently without constant supervision Good attitude and willingness to learn Equipment and trailer experience is a major plus Snowplowing or snow-removal experience is a plus Experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter just as much. Schedule This position is available immediately for the remainder of the 2026 landscaping season . Winter snow-removal work will also be available, followed by an opportunity to return full-time for the 2027 landscaping season . Hours vary based on projects, workload, and weather. Pay $22.5-$35/hour depending on experience, ability, and responsibilities. There is room for increased responsibility and compensation for someone who proves they can work independently, operate equipment, maintain quality standards, and eventually help lead projects or crews.
