Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscaping Tree Laborer and become a vital part of creating beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will assist with planting, maintaining, and caring for trees and landscape areas, ensuring safety and quality at every step. Whether you're working with tree care equipment or supporting landscape maintenance projects, your efforts will directly contribute to transforming outdoor environments into vibrant, thriving landscapes. This paid position offers hands-on experience in horticulture and landscaping while promoting growth and skill development in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Assist with tree planting, pruning, trimming, and removal using proper techniques and safety procedures Operate equipment such as bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and rigging gear to access high or hard-to-reach areas safely Support landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general site cleanup Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with site mapping and planning tasks when applicable Perform routine tree care activities like staking, cabling, and fertilization to promote healthy growth Support growing experience by learning horticultural practices related to tree care and landscape management Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members Experience Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or tree care is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued Familiarity with rigging techniques for lifting or securing heavy materials or trees is a plus Experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment enhances your ability to perform job duties efficiently Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and general horticulture principles is beneficial Growing experience in tree trimming, pruning, or arboriculture demonstrates a strong foundation for success in this role Basic understanding of GIS tools or mapping systems can be advantageous but is not mandatory A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is essential for thriving in this energetic environment
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
