Lawn Care & Grounds Maintenance Crew Member

Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation is a Kansas City-based nonprofit committed to building stronger communities through affordable housing, workforce development, and neighborhood investment. As we maintain and expand our portfolio of community properties, we're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our lawn care and grounds maintenance crew. This is an opportunity to do meaningful work — keeping the spaces where Kansas City families live and thrive looking their best.

What You'll Do:

Mow, edge, and trim lawns at residential and commercial properties across the Kansas City area Remove debris, leaves, and litter from grounds and common areas Operate and maintain lawn care equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.) Report property maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the supervisor Work as part of a team to complete daily routes on schedule

What We're Looking For:

Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred but not required — we're willing to train the right person Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation or ability to report to a designated meeting location Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday Valid driver's license a plus

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
