We are looking for someone to maintain our high company standards to ensure that our property grounds and common areas are clean and free of debris on a daily basis. The person we are looking for should be dedicated, have an eye for detail, be committed to excellence and have an outstanding work ethic. This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Report to Maintenance Supervisor each morning and as required for work assignments
Meticulous upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, offices, common areas and parking lots so the property looks inviting to visitors
Ensure curbs, dumpster areas, parking lots, breezeways and garages are picked up and swept
Empty and restock pet stations, picking up grounds as necessary
Replace common area interior and exterior lightbulbs
Remove trash from office area and apartment community perimeter
Assist maintenance technicians and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner
Report maintenance concerns for repairs
Maintain pool facilities and apartment community fountains during appropriate season
Ensure vacant units are cleaned out upon move-out and assist with make readys during busy season
Post flyers and notices throughout the community
Deliver misplaced packages to correct resident
Perform all other duties as directed by management and assist the overall team effort any way possible
Maintain an excellent customer service relationship with all residents and fellow associates
Maintain appearance of supply room
Report violations of lease and rules and regulations infractions to property manager
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Self-motivated, punctual and highly reliable
Strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy
Professional appearance and willing to wear logowear
Ability to work independently and be a team player
Able to follow directions and effectively communicate with staff and residents
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb stairs and ladders
Capable to work in inclement weather
Use of a personal vehicle with valid driver's license
Ability to pass a criminal background check Compensation and Benefits (
