Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating beautiful outdoor environments. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscape, planting, and construction tasks to ensure our projects meet high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. Whether working on lawn care, planting, hardscape installation, or equipment operation, you will be an essential part of transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, functional landscapes. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in horticulture, landscape construction, and equipment handling while contributing to inspiring outdoor projects. Duties Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and skid loaders to install or repair landscape features. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance; apply horticultural knowledge to support plant health. Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, laying hardscape elements like pavers or retaining walls, and assisting with excavation tasks. Perform seasonal duties such as snow plowing or removal during winter months to keep outdoor spaces accessible and safe. Follow safety protocols Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or construction is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to identify plants and trees accurately; understanding of horticultural principles is a plus. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
