Job Overview Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Mowing Crew Member and help create beautiful, well-manicured outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns, landscapes, and outdoor areas by operating mowing and landscaping equipment. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will ensure our properties look their best. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping while working in a vibrant outdoor environment. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to mow grass, trim edges, and clear debris efficiently. Maintain landscaped areas by performing mowing, edging, pruning, and planting as needed. Use hand tools and landscaping equipment safely to perform routine groundskeeping tasks. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during outdoor work activities. Assist with irrigation system operation and basic repairs to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Support additional grounds maintenance tasks such as snow plowing or hardscape upkeep during seasonal needs. Requirements Prior experience with outdoor work or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment are highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and groundskeeping machinery safely and effectively. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management is a plus. Experience with irrigation systems, tree care, gardening, or snow plowing will be advantageous. Strong adherence to safety protocols and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is beneficial but not mandatory.
