$16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience
SCHEDULE
Summer, approx. May•August, 7am•4pm between Tuesday to Saturday
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performs grounds keeping functions on the campus including mowing, trimming, and maintaining landscaping. Assists with painting of campus buildings and infrastructure Assists with furniture assembly and moving Assists with the stocking and receiving in inventory Provides quality customer service and positive interactions with staff, faculty, students and public Performs other duties as assigned Reports to Assistant Director of Facilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Valid MT driver's license at time of hire; AND, Ability to read and follow directions. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and
ABILITIES
Ability to safely work with related equipment Ability and willingness to serve as a representative for the College by interacting appropriately with the public, students, potential students and College community Ability to work within policies and procedures of FVCC Ability to maintain effective and positive professional relationships with staff, students, and public Ability to maintain regular and acceptable attendance levels Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to pass a pre-employment physical screen. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check. Ability to respond effectively in the event of an emergency This is a Heavy Duty job, according to the Selected Characteristics of Occupations Defined in the Revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles, U.S. Department of Labor and Industry. Heavy Duty involves exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds continuously to move objects.
