Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This paid position offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction. As a Landscape Laborer, you will assist with a variety of tasks that keep landscapes thriving, ensuring client satisfaction and the highest standards of quality. Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and laying hardscape features such as patios and walkways Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure lush, healthy turf Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like pruning, trimming trees, and installing irrigation systems Support landscape maintenance activities such as aeration, mulching, weed control, and seasonal snow plowing Perform equipment maintenance on machinery like excavators and other construction tools to ensure optimal performance Help with tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety Support horticultural practices by caring for gardens and ensuring plants are healthy and vibrant Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, gardening, or construction is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Mechanical knowledge or experience operating equipment like excavators or other power tools is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation, irrigation setup, tree care, and horticulture practices Strong attention to safety procedures when handling hand tools, power tools, or heavy machinery Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscape maintenance and snow plowing Valid driver's license is preferred but not required; willingness to learn how to operate construction equipment is essential Embark on a fulfilling career where your hands-on skills make a real difference!
