Job Description
The Mission Neighbor Lawn Care exists to create jobs for young men. The lawn work matters, but it's the vehicle. The point is a crew of young men learning a trade, building work ethic, and having someone invest in them. We need a Crew Lead who cares about that as much as the grass. Is This You? You've led people before. Maybe you coached, managed a crew, or mentored through a church or program. You know how to teach a skill without doing it for someone. You're not looking for extra hours. You're looking for a place to pour into young men while doing work you're good at. What You'll Do Lead a small residential lawn crew, day to day, on site Coach the young men on your crew: skills, quality, work ethic Set the standard for a job well done and hold the crew to it Tow and drive a 6x10 trailer to job sites Operate mowers, trimmers, edgers, shears, sprayers, and other equipment Handle basic equipment troubleshooting in the field What We're Looking For Real experience leading or mentoring people, especially young men Lawn care skill and equipment knowledge Comfortable towing and driving a trailer An eye for quality and the patience to teach it
