The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves various tasks related to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and healthy. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment, contributing to the overall beauty and functionality of residential and commercial properties. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns, tree removal, and more. Execute tree trimming and tree care activities to promote healthy growth and aesthetics. Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Operate power tools and machinery safely for various landscaping tasks. Maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering schedules for gardens and lawns. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Build garden beds, install plants, and provide ongoing care for landscaped areas. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with tree care practices, hardscape installation, and garden management is beneficial. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in all landscaping projects.
