Wilmington, NC Hours of Work:
16 hours/week flexible days and hours are required
Hourly Rate:
$15 per hour Responsibilities Assist the Facilities Manager and perform assigned work orders promptly Perform preventative maintenance task to maintain the physical integrity of the property Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors of the Del Webb Amenity Center Anticipate, identify and correct problems involving the property Follow up on service requests and communicate with managers for the highest quality of customer service Assist with setup and breakdown of Lifestyle events Assist with maintenance of tennis courts daily, weekly and monthly Power washing and general maintenance/upkeep of the property Requirements Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Demonstrated aptitude for learning and applying mechanical, construction and/or maintenance skills Attendance and punctuality are essential Exceptional attention to detail in executing precise furniture layouts, ensuring accurate spacing and alignment is a must. Must be able to serve as a back up to the Facilities Manager when needed for emergencies promptly when on-call Ability to take direction Must have familiarity of plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems Must have basic computer skills to input and complete work orders Must be knowledgeable and skilled with the use of various hand and power tools, lift heavy objects and climb ladders of various heights Must have excellent communication skills to provide the highest quality of customer service Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to speak, read and write English
