Lawn Care & Landscape Crew Member

Job Summary Lawn & Landscape Crew Member Do you enjoy working outdoors, operating lawn equipment, and keeping neighborhoods in the Bismarck-Mandan area looking great during the spring and summer? Hometown Lawn & Landscape is looking for a responsible, go-getter crew member to join a fast-growing company established in 2009. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ability to maintain the appearance of lawns every week to customer satisfaction. Maintenance includes cutting lawns, trimming lawns, and cleaning up after a lawn cut. Maintain equipment everyday which includes truck maintenance, mower maintenance, trailer maintenance, and equipment cleanliness. Crew members also may do landscape installation such as install paver patios, edging, rock beds, plant shrubs, trees, and seed lawn.

Characteristics of a successful candidate:

Work efficiently to complete mowing routes in a timely manner with high quality output. Ability to learn and adapt quickly. Highly motivated and accountability. Must be able to speak with customers confidently. Must be awesome at customer service and quality control.

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

General mechanical and lawn care knowledge Must be willing to work outdoors Must have a valid driver's license Experience with lawn care and landscaping equipment and machinery preferred Willing to train candidates with a good work ethic and eagerness to learn!

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs occasionally to load various equipment, and lawn /landscaping products Must be able to climb onto the back of pick-up trucks and trailers Vast Majority of work is performed outdoors in a variety of settings

Salary:

$13-$18 per hour (Based on Experience & Desire) Work days and hours: Mon-Friday (may vary depending on weather) Hours typically 8:00-5:00 with flexibility to work together to adjust.
