Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE
Maintenance and upkeep of the Souris Valley Golf Course grounds. This is a seasonal position with an anticipated duration of April - October though potential for extension may exist.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification, only a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties. Operate various mowing equipment (e.g., greens mowers, fairway mowers, rough mowers) safely and efficiently. Maintain and prepare sand traps (e.g., raking, edging). Maintain and repair ball marks, divots, and other turf damage. Water greens, fairways, and other landscaped areas using irrigation systems and hoses. Assist with the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf treatments (under supervision). Remove debris, leaves, and other obstructions from the course. Maintain flower beds, shrubbery, and other landscaped areas. Assist with the course setup for daily play, including setting up tee markers, flags, and ropes. Perform general grounds maintenance tasks as assigned. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods. Basic knowledge of golf course maintenance practices is a plus but not required. Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 1 Valid driver's license preferred.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in and around the golf course facilities. Equipment operation. Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly wage: $10 - $15 (depending on experience) $50 Seasonal Golf Pass
