JOB SUMMARY
Safely and efficiently perform campus grounds and general maintenance that might include assisting with campus litter, trash removal, and recycling program. Landscape maintenance includes lawn and ground care including planting, chemical application, mowing, trimming, and weeding. Snow and ice management. Tree and hedge trimming. Exterior and interior building maintenance. Parking lot and street surface maintenance to include signage, curb/sidewalk inspection and maintenance. Minor repairs to state fleet and various rolling stock equipment. Grounds personnel must be available for early morning and/or late-night hours when snow or ice is forecasted.
Benefits SALARY:
$38,000-$44,000, commensurate with education and experience

The package includes single or family health insurance coverage with premiums paid for by the College - with an effective date for new employees the first of the month following the date of hire. Minimum Requirements Valid Drivers license High School Diploma or equivalent Equipment operation experience Mechanical maintenance and skilled repair experience Landscaping experience Chemical applicators license or able to obtain Basic computer skills Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications 2-year landscaping or Horticulture degree ND class B Driver's License with air brake endorsement Additional Information
