Job Description

RiverWoods Manchester, a resident-centered non-profit CCRC, seeks a full-time Landscape Specialist to maintain safe, attractive grounds for our senior living campus. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, mulching, leaf and snow removal, walkway and parking lot care, basic irrigation checks, and safe operation of landscaping equipment. Collaborate with maintenance and nursing teams to ensure access and safety for residents, guests, and staff. Ideal candidates have experience in groundskeeping, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to our respectful, mission-driven community. Responsibilities Maintain campus grounds including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing Perform planting, pruning, mulching, and seasonal bed maintenance Complete leaf, debris, and trash removal across outdoor areas Provide snow and ice removal on walkways, entrances, and parking areas Inspect and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely Assist with basic irrigation checks and minor adjustments Monitor grounds for safety hazards and address or report issues Coordinate with maintenance and nursing teams to ensure safe resident access Support seasonal projects such as landscaping upgrades or cleanups Follow all safety, infection control, and community policies Required Skills Grounds maintenance Mowing and trimming Planting and pruning Snow and ice removal Equipment operation and maintenance Irrigation system basics Safety and OSHA practices Time management Outdoor manual labor Basic recordkeeping
