Mower/Landscaper

Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Mower/Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! You'll be instrumental in maintaining residential, commercial, or public landscapes by performing a variety of mowing, trimming, planting, and hardscape tasks. Duties Operate lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and equipment such as excavators to perform mowing, trimming, edging, and landscape installation. Maintain lawns by mowing, aerating, fertilizing, and watering to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Perform landscape maintenance including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing or repairing irrigation systems. Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and removal using appropriate tools and techniques. Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping machinery and power tools for efficient operation and troubleshooting. Extensive experience in lawn care practices including mowing techniques and turf management. Knowledge of landscape maintenance procedures such as pruning, planting, irrigation setup, and garden care. Familiarity with landscaping design principles and hardscape installation methods. Ability to operate hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners as well as larger equipment such as excavators or skid steers when needed. Understanding of horticulture practices related to tree care and gardening to promote healthy plant growth. Experience in snow plowing operations for winter season readiness. Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols during all landscaping activities.
