Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaping Laborer to join our team for

PART TIME

work. This opening is for roughly 16 - 24 hours a week with opportunities for flexibility and more hours when needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, including mowing, trimming, mulching, installing stone, installing shrubs, and installing sod. If you enjoy working outdoors and have experience with landscaping equipment, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Install mulch, sod, and other landscape materials to enhance the appearance of lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces. Perform general yard maintenance, including trimming bushes, trees, and hedges. Clear debris, leaves, and other yard waste to maintain a neat and clean appearance. Assist with the planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees. Follow safety guidelines and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance. Work as part of a team to complete landscaping projects on time. Perform any additional tasks as required by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in landscaping or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required. Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, etc.). Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and handle manual labor. Ability to lift up wheelbarrows and perform physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques, such as sod installation and mulching. Strong attention to detail and ability to take pride in your work. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
