This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscape-related tasks, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and seasonal snow plowing. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential, commercial, and public landscapes. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and vibrant landscapes Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects Use equipment like excavators for digging, grading, or installing features such as patios or retaining walls Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, watering, and weed control to maintain lush green spaces Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting, or removal to promote safety and health Help with irrigation system installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes Conduct seasonal tasks like snow plowing and de-icing to keep properties safe during winter months Qualifications Prior experience or interest in landscaping, gardening, or construction work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape maintenance Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and responsibly Knowledge of horticulture principles or experience with tree care is a plus Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful environments!
