Job Description

Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Mechanic Groundsworker for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). Under general supervision, maintains and repairs grounds equipment and performsgeneral grounds maintenance. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Maintains an inventory of parts and supplies forequipment repair. Operates and maintains repair shop and equipment storage area. Instructs personnel in the proper use and maintenance of grounds equipment.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school/vocational school education or its equivalent plus three years of experience in repair work of small engine/, grounds equipment and some diesel repair experience.
