General Job Description:
Maintain school grounds daily through landscaping duties (mowing, weed eating; trimming of bushes & trees; raking, blowing and bagging leaves; emptying trash cans, etc.) Maintain all sprinkler systems/irrigation systems throughout the district. Maintain district's playing fields and grounds. All fence repair and exterior painting as needed. Preventive maintenance on all grounds equipment in season and out of season. Shovel Snow and keep sidewalks free of snow, ice and debris. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, clean driving record and participate in a defensive driving course. Pesticide/herbicide knowledge a plus. Mechanical abilities, good judgment, communication skills. Must work well with staff members inside and outside of the department. Must be reliable and able to work in outdoor cold and heat. Ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation/sprinkler systems. Need to be self-motivated in keeping grounds green and weed free during growing season and all landscape healthy during dormant season.
