- Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Gardener to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing outdoor spaces by applying mulch and performing various landscaping tasks that promote healthy plant growth and aesthetic appeal. The job also entails tree trimming, pruning, and various cleanups. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools, and bring creative landscape visions to life with energy and precision. Hardscaping experience is not required, but can create potential for assistance on various patio installations. Work hours and days are flexible for the part time schedule. Responsibilities Prepare garden beds and landscape areas by clearing debris, weeds, and existing mulch as needed before installation. Apply mulch accurately and evenly across designated areas. Assist with planting, pruning, and other gardening tasks to support overall landscape health. Operate a range of equipment including shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, tillers, and other landscaping tools safely and efficiently. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of prior experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is required. Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools used in landscaping projects. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail. Strong understanding of landscape aesthetics combined with practical farming or agriculture knowledge is advantageous.
