Job Description
We are hiring commercial and residential landscape and lawn maintenance crew members. Daily tasks will include, but not limited to- operating zero turn mowers, spring clean ups, landscape installation, landscape maintenance, fall clean ups. In the winter months, the worker will be responsible for operating a shovel and or plow truck. Worker will also be responsible for applying a variety of ice melting agents. You must have at least 1 year of experience mowing commercial and residential properties. You must be able to work flexible hours and 6/7 days a week when necessary all year round. Must have people skills to deal with high end customers and deal with complaints and requests with professionalism and maturity. Be able to take direction from any and all members of the crew within reason and take initiative to make spur of the moment decisions that are in the best interest of the company and the customer. Must know how to perform general upkeep and maintenance on equipment used daily such as snow plows, lawn mowers, trailers, string trimmers, excavators, skid steers, etc. General knowledge of Landscape construction, hardscapes, plants, trees, and shrubbery care preferred. Must have valid driver's license as operating vehicles will be apart of daily tasks as well as an operable mobile phone. Experience plowing commercial parking lots and residences is admirable but not required. Pay is based on experience and subject to change based upon performance. To be a preferred candidate for this position applicants are expected to possess the following: Valid NYS Drivers License Clean Driving Record Clean Background Able to lift a minimum of 50 LBS 1 or more years of experience required
