Duties Assist customers in selecting plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor décor, providing expert advice on plant care and landscape ideas Maintain attractive displays by stocking shelves, rotating stock, and organizing merchandise to enhance visual appeal Support landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, watering, and plant health assessments to ensure vibrant garden displays Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and credit payments with precision Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, merchandising, and organizing stockrooms for easy access Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering gardening tips, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Support e-commerce operations by preparing online orders for pickup or delivery when applicable Skills Strong knowledge of gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques Experience with lawn care equipment and floral design is a plus Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are beneficial for serving diverse customers Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and cashiering procedures Organizational skills to manage stocking, merchandising, and inventory control efficiently Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Passion for customer service with the ability to engage positively with shoppers of all backgrounds This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in gardening and retail while helping customers create beautiful outdoor spaces.
