Landscape Laborer

Duties Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including digging, planting, and installing landscape features Support installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers and hoses for optimal watering efficiency Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff Conduct routine landscape maintenance including debris removal, mulch spreading, and garden bed upkeep Use excavators or other construction equipment when necessary for larger landscaping projects Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment like hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools Experience Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or gardening is not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated learners Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools enhances your ability to perform tasks efficiently Basic understanding of horticulture principles helps in plant selection and care practices Experience with tree care activities such as trimming or planting is a plus Knowledge of irrigation systems or snow plowing operations is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to safety standards Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscape maintenance and construction Join us to help shape beautiful outdoor environments while gaining valuable skills in landscaping!
