Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Landscape Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This position focuses on landscape construction projects, including site preparation, grading, drainage, hardscape installation, planting, and general labor. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is physically capable of performing demanding tasks, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Daily responsibilities include digging, moving materials, operating wheelbarrows, assisting equipment operators, and supporting the installation of landscape and hardscape features. Responsibilities Perform general landscape construction labor including digging, trenching, grading, and site preparation. Transport materials such as soil, gravel, mulch, stone, and concrete using wheelbarrows and other equipment. Assist with the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, drainage systems, and other hardscape features. Install trees, shrubs, perennials, and other landscape materials according to project plans. Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, cut-off saws, and other construction equipment. Assist with excavation work and support equipment operators during construction activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in landscape construction, construction labor, hardscape installation, excavation, or related outdoor work preferred but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 pounds, digging, bending, kneeling, and pushing loaded wheelbarrows throughout the day. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team. Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, or other construction equipment is a plus.
