  • Part-time, Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of various landscaping techniques. This role involves physical labor and requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of landscape aesthetics and functionality. The Landscape Laborer will work on various projects, including lawn care, tree care, hardscaping, and irrigation installation. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Assist in the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues. Carry out tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal as necessary. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for plants and lawns. Engage in gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design specifications. Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility of properties. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required. Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques is essential. Familiarity with horticulture principles is a plus. Ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely is desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions from supervisors effectively.
