Role:
We are looking for a hard-working individual with previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience to help maintain the grounds of our apartment complexes. A professional resume with detailed work history must be included to be considered.
JOB DUTIES
Maintaining and caring for indoor spaces, such as office, public restrooms, hallways, commercial spaces, amenities, parks, etc. to ensure that these areas are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and safe. Maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of outdoor areas on the property, includes planting and trimming shrubs, maintaining flower beds, apply salt or other de-icing materials, shovel or plow snow from sidewalks, entryways, and other frequently used pathways, ensuring that the grounds are free of debris, pests, and hazards. Participate in the upkeep of the grounds, including daily trash pickup as needed. Inspect and maintain walkways, fences, gates, and other outdoor structures for safety and aesthetic quality. Performing inventory on repair supplies and keeping repair tools and supplies clean and organized. Ensuring all safety systems are functioning properly, including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and building systems. Completing safety checks on systems and equipment. Responsible for leading regular inspections of property with janitorial and landscape providers and any other service provider as directed by the manager. On call as coordinated with supervisor. This may require being reachable and ready to report to work outside of regular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Regular work schedule:
Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm. At times, emergencies or circumstances will arise resulting in the need to work beyond previously stated hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have valid Drivers License Prior groundskeeping, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience preferred Comfortable using and maintaining outdoor power equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, snow removal equipment) At least 1-2 years of groundskeeping or related outdoor maintenance experience, residential/multifamily property experience preferred Ability to demonstrate exceptional work ethic and positive team-oriented attitude Ability to respond and manage on-call emergency and after-hours needs, including but no limited to snow removal as needed.
