Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance, landscaping, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical work, landscaping, and the use of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors across different seasons, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of our facilities and landscape areas. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, structures, and grounds Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and trimming Maintain landscape features such as planting, pruning, tree care, and hardscape installations Operate various tools including hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and repairs Carry out snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access Execute gardening tasks such as planting, fertilizing, and pest control Assist with tree trimming and arborist-related tasks to promote healthy growth Support construction projects or repairs as needed for property improvements Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities Requirements Proven experience with mechanical knowledge and maintenance tasks Familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing procedures is preferred Experience with tree care, trimming, mowing, hardscape installation, or related construction work is a plus Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects and operating machinery for extended periods This Maintenance Person role is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of our property while providing an engaging outdoor work environment.
